Save Time and Money with These 28 Senior Discounts

Frugality is a virtue which allows one to remain economically and emotionally independent. Indeed, “the way to wealth…depends chiefly on two words, industry and frugality.” That is, one should “waste neither time nor money, but make the best use of both” (Benjamin Franklin). With many senior discounts, you can save on both.

An online search for “senior discounts” presents thousands of websites and articles offering lists of places that offer discounts that may or may not be available to the general public. You must be very careful when reading these articles, however.

Many of those articles list discounts that have not been verified or have been discontinued. In addition, many of the links provided in the articles no longer work.

Here we offer you a curated list of 28 genuine senior discounts. Some of them you may have heard of before, some of them may be news to you.

While it’s impossible to encompass the full range of interests of today’s senior citizens, this A to Z list provides a snapshot of senior discounts available to people 50, 55, 60, and older.
